FMC Property Price Protection

FMC's Property Price Protection (PPP) ia a program for residential properties in Middleport environmental study areas to stabilizes property values and provide homeowners with assurance regarding one of their most important investments. The PPP office is located at 15 Main Street in Middleport.

According to the latest Multiple Listing Statistics (MLS), the average list and sales prices of single-family homes in the Village of Middleport have remained stable since the program was implemented for the study areas in 2004. The 2007 averages are up significantly over the last several years.

Sharrie Wartell of Community Interaction Consulting (CIC), which administers the program for FMC, said Middleport properties continue to sell at about 95 to 96 percent of their list prices, which is comparable to list price ratios around the United States.
