The site of a monument to the first woman in the United States to run for President. Born and raised in Royalton, Ms. Lockwood ran for President in 1884.

Asher Freeman Memorial
Mountain Road and Freeman Road intersection, Middleport

This spot marks the home of Asher Freeman, one of the founding fathers of Middleport. Mr. Freeman settled in the area in 1814 and became one of the area's most successful businessmen.
