Community Programs

FMC is an active member of the Middleport community, and is a significant contributor to the Niagara and Orleans County communities. The company supports the United Way, American Red Cross, Middleport Free Library, Royalton-Hartland Central School District, Middleport Area Tourism and Beautification Committee and many other Middleport community groups.

FMC is committed to the Responsible Care® initiative and we have put its principles to work in support of an open relationship with the community and our responsibility as a good neighbor. As such, we proudly host the Middleport Community Advisory Panel (CAP) monthly at the plant site. This group of local residents keeps abreast of FMC plant and environmental news and shares that information in their newsletter, "Viewpoints."

FMC also mails residents a quarterly newsletter, "Community Connection," to inform the community about plant activities and environmental programs.
